On April 9, 1982, Miss Margaret Carabetta, a fifteen-year old white female, was home alone. Margaret was discovered missing when her mother returned home from work. Her mother called all of Margaret’s known friends and conducted an extensive search for her. After completing this search, Margaret’s mother contacted local law enforcement to report her daughter was missing. Approximately 30 hours later, Margaret’s lifeless body was located in the desert area at the north end of Craycroft Road in Tucson, Arizona. No suspects have been identified to date.
